Since 2014

ICI Innovations has implemented custom Interactive Data Visualization and Reporting solutions for government (Impact Assessment Agency of Canada – Regional Assessment), NGOs (Maritime Exchange for the Delaware River and Bay) and industry alike (Oilco – Oil and Gas Corporation of Newfoundland and Labrador). We’ve developed tools, procedures and custom user-interfaces leveraging existing technology and platforms (e.g. Microsoft 365) to serve our customers better.

RIVAS is our resulting project information management solution. It is purpose-built to be flexible and customizable, implement quickly, and evolve to the scale and needs of your project stage whether at planning, environmental assessment, permitting or beyond. Backed by our multi-disciplinary team with collective experience on hundreds of projects, we have the Support Services expertise to scale with project requirements. Our goal is to make information flow better so our customers achieve their goals faster.



Built from Necessity

ICI Innovations originally developed custom solutions for the oil and gas, transportation and logistics, and energy industries. A system integrating an intuitive visual interface, spatial mapping with easy access to pertinent data, information and documents didn’t exist. There was a gap in the market for projects of all sizes/stage requiring experience, expertise and ability, so we developed it.



Refined by real-world use

Feedback from long-term customers plus identification of additional required modules shaped RIVAS into a fully integrated solution. Customers now use RIVAS applications in stages ranging from Environmental Assessment (EA) Registration, through Engagement, Permitting, Engineering, Construction and into Operations.



Plan then Navigate

It has become clear that implementing a project information management system like RIVAS as early as possible is advantageous. Data, information, documents and reports come in faster and with increased volume at each subsequent project phase. To help early, RIVAS Plan has been positioned as a cost-effective solution at the pre-submission stage in preparation for EA submission and the project stages following. This evolves seamlessly into the full RIVAS Navigate to scale with requirements and needs as the project progresses into subsequent stages.

Now trusted across industries including Mining, Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Transportation and Logistics as well as Interactive Data Visualization and Reporting – Today, RIVAS is the go-to platform for environmental compliance, permitting, and regulatory engagement.
